Service Description
Dive into the experimental world of water casting, a process where molten metal meets liquid to create unpredictable, organic shapes. Students will work with bronze casting grain, exploring melting temperatures and torch techniques as they pour molten metal into water and other varied environments to reveal intricate, drop-like forms. After mastering the bronze pour, students will have the opportunity to perform a small silver pour. To conclude the session, you will select your favorite cast pieces and learn the bench skills necessary to transform them into a pair of post earrings, a sculptural pin, or a custom pendant. Note: Base price listed. Students should expect to pay an additional $10-15 for silver the day of class (Cash/Card accepted).
